• Washington Adventist Hospital Receives Special Exception Approval to Relocate Hospital September 11, 2008 In a unanimous vote, the Montgomery County Board of Appeals Wednesday approved the hospital’s Petition for Special Exception, allowing Washington Adventist Hospital to be relocated to a 48.8-acre parcel of land near the White Oak/Calverton section of Montgomery County along the Prince George’s County border.
• Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Receives Three-Year Approval with Commendation as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program September 3, 2008 Shady Grove Adventist Hospital’s cancer program has been granted a three-year approval with commendation by the American College of Surgeons (ACoS), a designation held by only 25 percent of U.S. hospitals.
