Breast Cancer Screening
Cancer is the second leading cause of death in Maryland after heart disease and one in four deaths in Maryland are due to cancer. Our oncology outreach supports the growth of cancer services at both Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and Washington Adventist Hospital.
Breast Cancer Screening Program
The Breast Cancer Screening Program offers screenings, patient education, self-examination instructions and access to treatment for low-income women 40 years of age and older living in Montgomery County. In addition, this program offers individual education, financial assistance, and support if a patient is ultimately diagnosed with breast cancer.
