Washington Adventist Hospital Names New Chief Medical Officer
Longtime Intensive Care Doctor, Randall Wagner, Accepts New Role
Takoma, MD – Washington Adventist Hospital has named Randall Wagner, M.D., as its new Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Dr. Wagner has worked at Washington Adventist Hospital for the past 12 years, and previously led the Intensivist program, which cares for critically-ill patients on the hospital’s Intensive Care Units.
Dr. Wagner has held many roles at the hospital including Chair, Department of Critical Care Medicine, Chair, Critical Care Committee, Chair, Infection Control Committee, and Chair, Adventist HealthCare Hospital Associated Infection Committee. He is also a member of the Medical Executive Committee and Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.

Prior to coming to Washington Adventist Hospital, Dr. Wagner held medical director and co-directorships in Critical Care Medicine and Respiratory Therapy at George Washington University Hospital as well as academic positions at George Washington University.
