Valet Parking for Our Patients

When you're coming to Washington Adventist Hospital for health care services, the last thing you need to be concerned about is finding a parking space. And if your loved one is doing the driving, he or she wants to be with you as much of your visit as possible, instead of looking for a parking space.

We understand the parking problem on our hospital campus, and we've done something about it. For patient safety and convenience, Washington Adventist Hospital is pleased to now provide no-cost valet parking to our patients right at the front door of our hospital. Our service provider, Metropolitan Health Care Services, Inc., one of the country's premiere providers of health care parking services, will eliminate the time and frustration of parking on our campus.

From a uniformed attendant who opens every car door with a smile and assists you from your vehicle to a helpful concierge located in the Main Lobby who arranges for wheelchair services and provides directions to treatment areas – your access to our quality health care services just got easier.

How to use valet parking:

• On the main campus drive, go directly to the parking monitor located near the flagpole who will guide you to the valet parking service.
• A valet parking attendant will give you a claim ticket and park your vehicle in a reserved space on the hospital campus.

Where to get your car:

• Show your claim ticket to the parking attendant at the Main Entrance and the attendant will retrieve your car. Please make sure to have your claim ticket validated by the nurse or department where you received care.
• Your health care provider will direct you to a “house phone,” conveniently located throughout the hospital, where you may directly dial extension 6644 ten minutes in advance of your departure to arrange to have your car waiting for you.
• To retrieve your vehicle after 5:00 p.m., call extension 6644.

When valet service is available:

• Our valet parking service is available Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except Federal Holidays, excluding Columbus Day).

Our valet parking service is currently reserved for our patients and their drivers, and for volunteers. Patients and patients' visitors will still be able to self-park their vehicles. The parking monitor will direct you to self-park areas. All hospital visitors may use the valet parking service for a nominal fee starting October 1, 2005.
