• I am among the nation's uninsured and have need of a colonoscopy screening. I am a 56 year of African American woman with a family history of colon/colorectal cancer. My maternal grandmother, brother, and most recently my mother have all died from the disease and I am concerned about some recent changes in my "bodily functions." Are you aware of any healthcare institutions that offer colorectal screening for free or on a sliding scale? I have made numerous inquiries but am still looking.

• Dear Ms. Petronio: I work for UnitedHealthcare's medicaid insurance and we have a member that lives in Riverdale that needs a gyn oncologist. Do you have any providers that you can give me their information so I can call them and see if they take our insurance or work our a single case agreement with them.
