Gift Shop

The Washington Adventist Hospital Foundation Gift Shop offers a variety of creative, colorful and useful gifts from around the world for our patients and visitors of every age. From old standards like balloons to boxed candy and flowers or whimsical gifts that will be cherished by your loved one, come into our shop located at the Main Entrance of the hospital and browse from our wide selection. Or just call us at (301) 891-5440 to place an order and arrange for free delivery within the hospital.

Gifts include: Balloons, Boxed Candy, Cards, Clothing, Cosmetics, Educational Literature, Flowers, Gift Certificates, Magazines, Seasonal Gifts, Stuffed Animals Toiletries (Travel Size).

Established in 1988, the Washington Adventist Hospital Foundation exists to support the clinical services and programs of Washington Adventist Hospital. Proceeds from our Gift Shop benefit various hospital programs and services. Major credit cards are accepted.

Newspapers

Newspaper vending machines are located outside the hospital entrance and outside the Emergency Department. A variety of daily and weekly papers are available.

Florists

Most area florists make daily deliveries to the hospital. Fresh, dried or silk flower arrangements may be purchased in the hospital Gift Shop. Please check with the nurse in the Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units before bringing or sending flowers to patients in these areas.

Lost And Found

Lost and Found is located in the Security Services Department. Items are held for 15 days before being donated to a local charity. If you have lost something, call (301) 891-5476 and ask the operator to page the security officer on duty.
