The Department of Radiology at Washington Adventist Hospital provides a full range of radiological services as well as nuclear medicine technologies. Our physicians and staff are committed to provide patients with cutting-edge technology coupled with outstanding customer service.  We work to provide a comfortable environment for your exam as well as quick turnaround time for exam results.

Preparation for Test

Radiological exams have specific requirements in preparation for testing.  Please contact your physician or the Department of Radiology at (301) 891-5106 for specifics requirements.

Location

The Department of Radiology is located on Lower Level 1 near the Emergency Room. Nuclear Medicine is located on the sixth floor of the main hospital building.

Hours of Operation

The Radiology Department offers its services to inpatients and Emergency Department patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Sunday through Friday, the department accepts outpatients from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

On Saturday, outpatients are accepted on an emergency basis only. Outpatients are scheduled Sunday-Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with some services having extended hours, depending on patient needs.

Exams and procedures can be scheduled with Centralized Scheduling Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
